DHANBAD | राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की जयंती पर राष्ट्रीय जनता दल महिला प्रकोष्ट की ओर से सोमवार को कंबाइंड बिल्डिंग चौराहे पर स्थित महात्मा गांधी के आदमकद प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण कर उन्हें याद किया गया। संगठन के जिलाध्यक्ष अनवरी खातुन ने कहा कि महात्मा गांधी महान आध्यात्मिक विभूति थे।उन्होंने अंग्रेजों के साथ-साथ गरीबी, असमानता जैसी अनेक सांसारिक कुरीतियो के विरुद्ध आंदोलन चलाया। वे मानवता के सच्चे पुजारी थे।अहिंसा परमो धर्म का उनका संदेश आज भी प्रसांगिक है। मौके पर राजद प्रदेश महासचिव मो. गुलाम समदानी, उपाध्यक्ष चानू कुमारी, उमा कुमारी, प्रखण्ड अध्यक्ष सुशीला देवी, अफताब साह, मुमताज अंसारी, हिना खातुन, नसीमा खातुन, शीला देवी, आरती चौहान, सकुना देवी के अलावे दर्जनो लोग मौजूद थे।
