DHANBAD | धनबाद के नए रेल एसपी मनोज स्वर्गियारी ने गुरुवार को पदभार ग्रहण कर लिया. रेल डीएसपी संजीव कुमार बेसरा, रेल थाना प्रभारी संजय प्रसाद व अन्य अधिकारियों ने गुलदस्ता भेंटकर उनका स्वागत किया. पदभार ग्रहण करने के तुरंत बाद एसआरपी ने सुरक्षा अधिकारियों व जवानों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिया. कहा कि दुर्गापूजा के दौरान थानेदार-इंस्पेक्टर समेत सभी पुलिसकर्मी रेलवे स्टेशनों और ट्रेनों में विशेष चौकसी बरतें. पूजा के समय ट्रेनों व स्टेशनों पर काफी भीड़ होती है. अपराधी प्रवृत्ति के लोग इसका फायदा उठाते हुए घटना को अंजाम देकर निकल जाते है. ऐसे संदिग्धों पर पैनी नजर रखें. उन्होंने कहा कि धनबाद रेल जिला क्षेत्र काफी दूर तक फैलाहै. धनबाद से लेकर जसीडीह होकर साहिबगंज और बरकाकाना से लेकर गढ़वा व कोडरमा तक इसके अंतर्गत आता है. एक दर्जन से अधिक जिलों के क्षेत्रों में रेलवे स्टेशनों पर रेल थाना हैं. ट्रेनों में मानव, कछुआ व नशीले पदार्थों की तस्करी अकसर होती है. चोरी, छिनतई, लूट व डकैती की घटनाएं भी यदा-कदा होती रहती हैं. ऐसी घटनाओं पर नियंत्रण के लिए हमेशा सतर्कता बरतने की जारूरत है. ट्रेनों व स्टेशन परिसर में रोजाना चेकिंग अभियान चलाएं, खासकर दुर्गापूजा दीपावली व छठ तक कड़ी निगरानी करें. ट्रेनों में एस्कोर्ट करें और संदिग्धों पर नजर रखें.
