हेलमेट और सीट बेल्ट लगाएं,वाहन भी धीरे चलाएं-डॉ. बिमल कुमार
SARAIKELA-KHARSAWAN | झारखंड में पहली बार किसी आईपीएस अधिकारी ने लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए 25 किलोमीटर तक बाईक चलाई है.ऐसी अनूठी पहल झारखंड के सरायकेला-खरसावां में आज सुबह 11.00 बजे एसपी द्वारा हुई. जिले के एसपी डॉ बिमल कुमार ने सरायकेला जिला मुख्यालय से यातायात जागरूकता अभियान की शुरुआत बड़े ही अनोखे ढंग से की.इस अभियान को कोल्हान प्रमंडल में ही नहीं बल्कि राज्य के सभी जिलों में करने की जरूरत है. आज एसपी खुद बुलेट मोटरसाइकिल पर सवार होकर अपने कार्यालय से कांड्रा टोल तक 25 किलोमीटर की लंबी यात्रा पर निकल गये.इस अभियान में जिला पुलिस के जवान 40-50 मोटरसाइकिलों पर हेलमेट लगाए सवार होकर एक रैली की तरह जिला मुख्यालय से कांड्रा टोल बूथ तक उनके साथ-साथ बढ़ रहे थे.वहीं मोटरसाइकिलों पर पीछे बैठे पुलिस के जवान भी हाथों पर जागरूकता अभियान का संदेश लिखे तख्तियां पकड़े नजर आए.कुल मिलाकर देखें तो इस अनूठे अंदाज में जिसका नेतृत्व खुद एक आईपीएस अधिकारी करें वाकई काबिले तारीफ है.
सड़क दुर्घटनाओं से चिंतित हैं एसपी
इस संदर्भ में बातचीत में डॉक्टर बिमल कुमार ने कहा कि सड़क पर वाहन चलाते थोड़ी सी सावधानी बरतें तो हम अपनी और दूसरों की भी जान बचा सकते हैं.वे बोले हालांकि अक्सर ट्राफिक और जिला पुलिस अलर्ट मोड पर रहती है जिससे सड़क दुघटनाओं में थोड़ी कमी आई है लेकिन यह संतोषजनक नहीं है.वे बोले कि थोड़ी सी सावधानी बरतें तो हम अपनी और दूसरों की भी जान बचा सकते हैं.वे बोले यह सुनना बड़ा दुखदाई होता है कि सड़क दुघर्टना में किसी का देहांत हो गया.उन्होने कहा कि मेरा प्रयास होगा कि जागरूकता अभियान की शुरुआत सड़क से शुरू होकर घर-घर तक पहुंचे ताकि सड़क दुघर्टना के दुखद समाचार सुनने को ही न मिलें.उन्होने कहा कि परिजन अपने बच्चों को घर से निकलते समय हेलमेट पहनने और सीट बेल्ट लगाने के लिए जरूर बोलें.
स्कूल-कॉलेजों में भी चलेगा जागरूकता अभियान
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार आने वाले दिनों में सरायकेला-खरसंवा जिले के डीएसपी और थाना प्रभारी भी अपने क्षेत्र के स्कूल-कॉलेजों में जाकर यातायात के प्रति छात्रों को जागरूक करने की पहल करेंगे.
